I am working on writing a piano piece of music. I was wondering if it is possible to add "grace notes". If so, how would you go about doing that?

in speedy entry, enter the note you want, then press the ; key, which will give you the grace note. by the way, it doesn't "count" for total value in the measure, so don't worry about using too many beats. to beam or unbeam them as you prefer, use the / key in speedy entry.

You can do it in Simple Entry too, if that's what you're using.
If you want the grace note to look like an eighth note (one flag), select the eighth note icon, then click the grace note icon (small slashed eighth note). This will enter grace notes directly.
Or, if the note to be graced has already been entered as a regular-sized note, just double-click the grace note icon, then click on or above the target note.
