Posted By : Graeme Gilmore - 2/14/2010 10:10 PM | I am trying to write a script that changes the Expression Assignment for a single expression (Finale 2010). The only way I can find to access this value is to RIGHT Click the handle of the specific expression and then choose “Edit Expression Assignment…” from the context menu that opens. The problem is that there does not appear to be a Simulated Mouse Click for Right Click.
So, is there a way to do this or will it only be possible if Finalescript evolves to include a right click command?
Thanks, Graeme

What took so long?
Shortly after posting the previous entry, Finalescript and Finale 2012 would freeze up if I edited a script. I could use existing scripts, but could not edit or work on them. Now with Finale 2014, I can work with Finalescripts again.
Probably the new emphasis on keyboard shortcuts helped me see the solution. Graeme
