My girls go back and forth between their dad's house and my house. At their dad's house they have a Dell Laptop and run SmartMusic. At my house they have Macbooks and I bought another SmartMusic microphone and subscription so they could run on their MacBooks.

What they have been doing is logging in using the same account when they travel back and forth between my house and their Dad's house. They use the same account so that their music teacher can track their assignments.

More often than not, they are unable to login to their accounts at my house on their MacBook. They get an activation error and then try re-activating and restarting the software, but that often doesn't work.

Suggestions on how to handle this type of situation so my girls can practice at both homes?

Thank you.
MJ

MJA,

It sounds like you have done everything right so far. There are several different things that can cause activation errors, I would recommend getting a hold of our technical support team so they can find out what is causing the issue. You can submit a ticket to them by following this link, smartmusic.custhelp.com/app/.
