Hello,
I'm looking for Bach's Chaconne in D minor, I need to have it as a Finale Document I have (finale 2006).
If you have a guitar transcription, you are golden!

Help anybody?

You will be most apreciated.

Thanks!

Axelin have you tried to look at the midi archive website which you can find in Google easily, it contains a lot of Bach's work as midi files which you can usually get into Finale with little trouble. Here is another one I just found which might help ... http://www.jsbach.net/midi/midi_solo_violin.html

Hi, thank you for replying,

Yes, I have downloaded a couple of midi files from google, but unfortunately they are not very accurate in terms of note alignment (they are messy and difficult to work with).
I need to use a copy in finale format so I can then save as a clean midi file.

The project I'm working on is an orchestraion of this work, which I'm doing with cubase.

I will try the link you provided (thank you so much), I'll let you know how I did...

Take care.

This link: CLICK HERE takes you to YouTube. In the message string below the video, the arranger/performer says he has a Finale file of his transcription.

Ok, the site looks great. I just don't know how to import a midi file into a finale document.....
I was just looking at the user's manual, and I'm still lost....

I'll keep trying though. Thanks

Check the YouTube sight first. However, you just open a MIDI file in Finale. Under File Types, choose .mid
