Posted By : Motet - 12/15/2016 8:22 PM | I'm just starting to use 2014.5 in earnest. Here's the Speedy edit frame from 2011:
And here is is from 2014.5:

The fonts are different as you say--one is sans-serif and the other isn't. Finale 2014.5, 2011b, 2005, TGTools Windows 7, 32-bit MIDI input Finale Transposition Chart |
Posted By : Motet - 12/16/2016 1:51 AM | It's interesting--the greater the zoom level the closer the two versions approach each other in size.
I'm guessing that this is not an issue for most people because I have an old system--the display is only 1280 x 1024. With a bigger monitor with more pixels, 75% is too small, so the more zoom and thus the closer to the other version. At higher zooms, the newer font is much smoother, as you say. Posted By : Perotinus - 12/16/2016 4:26 PM | When you use a high zoom level for the Speedy frame does the "V1" still blow up to gigantic size and obscure the entry caret in Finale 25.2? This drives me mad in 2014 and for several versions prior. Perotinus
