I have tried searching for staff sets in the Mac side of this forum. Each time I get an error message.
That said, what I'm trying to do is create staff sets in Finale 25. I have followed the instructions in the user guide, but Staff Sets are greyed out. Can't set them. Can't use them. Bug?

Are you in Scroll View? Staff Sets seems to only work in Scroll View.

Staff Sets are only available in Scroll View, as the good Dr. pointed out.  Be sure you are in Scroll View

With Patterson Plugins the staff set can be chosen while in a view other than scroll view and it will automatically be changed to Scroll view with the set one has chosen.

The error message gobbledygook to me. A window full of code appears.
Yes, I was in page view. I forgot that I neede to be in scroll view. I'll have to check out the Patterson plugin mentioned in this thread. thanks for the replies.
