Posted By : Devo - 11/17/2015 9:12 AM | The 8th notes are clipping short on playback. Turned HP on and off no difference. Should be legato swing feel. I have it set to jazz light swing.
Never done this before.
I have Garritan JABB, Finale 2012, Windows 8.1
Thanks, Devo |

In order to trouble-shoot I think that we need to see an actual Finale 2012 document.

Posted By : Devo - 11/17/2015 10:07 AM | How do I do that? |
Posted By : Devo - 11/17/2015 10:11 AM | Okay I think this should be it. |
Posted By : Devo - 11/17/2015 10:20 AM | If I use the space bar to listen it plays correctly. |

I have Garritan JABB, Finale 2012, Windows 8.1… If I understand you correctly, Finale has never before clipped the 8th notes short on playback, right?
For what it is worth, your attached Finale document plays back correctly for me (= no 8ths clipping), both when I use the Spacebar, and when I click the Playback button.
I suspect that the culprit is not in the Finale document itself, but rather somewhere else (= in a software setting, or in the your hardware).
Does the problem happen in all documents - or is the problem isolated to some documents? (I wonder whether the document’s actual file size matters)
Please specify the steps you've already taken, so that we can rule out things.
