In Finale v25.1, when I reduce the width of the Main(or other)Palettes to single icons vertically I cannot move it. Is this a known issue?

Interesting. There is a new bug in 2014.5 that prevents a palette placed vertically in single icons from being collapsed and staying in single icons. Maybe these are related? You might report it to MM and mention my recent report to them.

I noticed that, too. Not enough room in the title bar to grab it without hitting the close button. Another minor irritation in a list of many, many.

I figured it out. Not so obvious.

When you reduce the palette vertically to show just one row of icons, hover the pointer along the thin line below where the red (x) section is until the (x) disappears. Then click on or near the thin line(you have to try a few times to get it just right), then you can move the palette.
