It used to be possible to change the key of a solo by a whole octave.  Have they done away with that feature?  I have a treble clef baritone soloist playing a trumpet solo for contest and smart music won't follow him in the original octave.

Jmooney,

Welcome to the forum! If you open the solo, look at the long "Follow me" button in the upper-right. On the right edge of that button is a triangle. Click it, and you should have an option to hear the soloist as published, or up/down an octave. I know it seems like a "Transposition" function you're looking for, but Transpose actually changes the key of the piece. The "hear me" option leaves everything as-is but is for situations like you're describing.

Thanks!

James Lund
