1. Export to XML and then re-import 2. Turn off Human Playback
This is an issue with a LOT of files and MM knows about the issue as I have sent them file after file. I am not sure why it happens, but know it is related to Human Playback in some way and I get it with repeat signs, barlines and all kinds of different places. P.S.: Well, I guess this file is a bit stubborn. Plan B works: Select All, Edit, Clear Selected Items, None, Tempo Changes. "When all is said and done, more is said than done."

I have Import Tempo changes and Import Continuous Dara unchecked when opening MIDI files. Joe

Posted By : Zuill - 12/30/2016 8:05 PM | I've reported to MM that the MIDI Tool Clear method doesn't work with this file. I let them know that the Clear method changes the data, but it remains. The Clear Selected Items approach does work. I opened the file in 2014.5 and with the Tempo Tool, I could clear it. I let them know that I thought that removing the Tempo Tool removed functionality that, in this case in particular, would have been nice to have.
