Hi all,

I have a tremolo between two semibreves F# and G on a treble stave. (See attached picture)

By default, Finale places the (Easy Tremolo Plugin) tremolo beams as if (almost) centred on an imaginary angled line between the two notes.

However, I see that Gould page 226 suggests centering the beams between the stems of the notes (or imaginary stems in the case of semibreves).

I must admit I like the look of beams being in line with the notes, not the stems. I would be interested to know where you like to position your beams.

Cheers,
Hector.

Whole notes (semibreves): between the notes. Half notes (minims) and smaller between the stems.
