Sorry, I've gone back and looked at this. The description of the book says it has been updated to include Finale 2012, leading me to believe that it will soon be out of date, but I see that it is a pre-order for a book yet to be released. The description is very misleading and they could probably have used an editor (like my wife) to review it before they posted it.

I doubt it's a mistake actually - the synopsis talks about specific new features in 2012 (ScoreManager, etc). They probably couldn't use the synopsis for the Finale 2014 book just yet because it would divulge product information about an upcoming release.

We had a distributor release some information to stores a little early. There will be an updated Trailblazer guide for the new version, and if you wanted to preorder it, go ahead. It'll ship when the new version is available.

Is Mark Johnson (Trailblazer's author) any relation to Tom Johnson, who appears from time to time on the Finale Blog?
