I am a new SmartMusic teacher member in Spain, where SmartMusic for teachers has just recently become available. I have been a Finale user for over 20 yrs.

1) How does I get a copy of the full score of a piece that I want to do with my groups? I see the individual parts, but not the full score.

2) For the moment I am unable to register my school and start to enter my students into the platform. My browser draws a blank when I click to submit a report to support. I assume this will be solved quickly or that it is just temporary.

3) Can I create my own exercises and arrangements with Finale to be used in SmartMusic?

HI,

1). Since you are from Spain I might recommend a music store to supply your full scores as smartmusic does not.

2) I am not sure if smartmusic educator works in spain or not, so until you get an answer from smartmusic I am not much help

3) once you get 2 answered, I'll explain 3 but finale should have a video tutorail of how to do that.

It does now work in SPain, the smartmusic educator platform, as of very recently.

Yes, I am already in the process of signing up for webonairs and looking for videos.

Hello,

SmartMusic 2012c works fine in Germany, all features supported (Accompagniments, assignments, grade book etc...)
Also my School is listed (Klettgau-Gymnasium Waldshut-Tiengen).
I'm using SmartMusic with all features in classroom bands (Bläserklassen).

If you have a teachers license and the SmartMusic support has listed your school, it should work.

Thanks for posting. As Jim mentioned, 1) SmartMusic does not provide sheet music or scores for the repertoire in our library. If you want to purchase the sheet music please contact the publisher or a local music store.

2) SmartMusic Gradebook is available internationally. If your school is not currently listed in SmartMusic you will want to submit a support ticket to Customer Support. If the link in the article above is not working please try following this link, http://smartmusic.custhelp.com/app/, and choose Submit a Support Case on the left.

3) If you have the full version of Finale, you will be able to create .SMP files that can be imported into SmartMusic. There is a great video under My Accompaniments in SmartMusic that will walk you through the basic steps creating these files.
