| Posted By : Harpsi - 6/11/2015 7:37 AM | I have the habit of click-assigning lyrics, pasting them into the lyrics window from an external editor. Because of the shortcomings of the lyrics window, I put my lyrics in different verses (even if I don't have any actual verses) and then set the baselines for all verses to -144e. As I neither could find a shortcut for this nor get the TGTools plug to work, I wrote the following script. Simple but efficient. As the question has come up in the other parts of the forum I share it here, and by doing that I know where to find it if I lose it, soI don't have to type it in again.

Since not all users have selected EVPUs as Measurement Units in Finale, I would, in the third line of each paragraph, add an ‘e’ after the number:
type -144e
In that way the script will work correctly, no matter what Measurement Units are selected.

If someone wants other numbers the best way to change would probably be to do a search and replace in an external editor.
