Posted By : Pat Greene - 3/13/2016 12:52 AM | Since upgrading to 2014.5, I've been getting a pop-up that says "Cannot find instrument bank file at /Applications/Garritan Personal Orchestra 4/Banks/Standard/GPO.(instrument).xml." It then asks "Do you want to uninstall this product?"
I always click "Yes," enter an administrator password, and then the Garritan sounds I'm using come up no problem at all. Since I don't have any sounds assigned to that instrument bank, I can't find a folder to delete them from. Is there a way to just reassign my audio settings to bypass this?
Thanks. :) All flowers, in time, bend towards the sun. ---Jeff Buckley |

NB: make sure you update the Aria player and engine afterwards, as the newer version required by Finsle 2014.5 may get replaced by an older one in the GPO installer. "This is me helping."

Posted By : diz - 3/17/2016 4:27 PM | I had this problem too, so I contacted Finale's Tech Support: here is the solution they posed for me (I'm using Finale 2012, though I own 2014.5):
"What I'd recommend trying first is to reassign your playback sounds. To do this, choose MIDI/Audio > Reassign Playback Sounds > Yes." Finale 2012A.r3 and 2014.5 Macbook Air |
