I Tryed to record with smartmusic a method number. It works well with a trumpet but it dońt works with a flute, it gave me a lot more mistakes than i did. I tryed it without surronding sound and also with a microphone. It seems that i did something wrong. Is there something special that i need to use ? |

Hard to say but the most obvious thing is that the sound from a flute is softer than that from a trumpet and the trumpet is much more directional - that is, the sound all comes out the bell whereas the flute like other woodwinds has the sound escaping along the length where the open tone holes begin for a particular note.
I would suggest that you try standing closer to the microphone (depending on how you have it setup). Makes sure your recording environment is quiet so SmartMusic does not pick up sounds from other sources.
