I have a workflow that leverages strengths from both 2012 and 2014. And when I need to flip between the two I use this script to convert batches of files to 2012.

Just thought I would share. And yes, I love 2014d. It does a better job importing MusicXML files from Sibelius. The 2014.5 update later this year should lessen the need for this script. I tested the updated FS and it should make life easier for everyone (who uses FS).
