I have a colleague writing a theory paper who needs to create a custos, which the editor of the publisher is asking for. It looks something like a mordent with a tail.
If anyone has done this before, can you let me know how?
Thanks in advance.

A very common symbol back in the day. You might check to see if it exists in the Bravura font.

It is in the November font, but of course you would have to pay for that.

I know the Sibelius fonts have it. In the Opus Ornaments font.

Indeed it is in the Bravura font. Perhaps it is also in "Fravura", the Finale compatible version of Bravura -

Thank you John, and everyone else who replied - it does exist in Bravura, and it should work fine.
