I'm finding it difficult to distinguish between ties and slurs after recognizing scanned PDF's in SmartScore Pro X2.

Smartscore often interprets ties as slurs. I then have to go through the .enf file to delete the slurs and add ties in their place.
It would help if ties and slurs appeared in different colors when editing. That would allow me to quickly spot the errors.

Does anyone have a fast way to tell the difference between ties and slurs in SmartScore?

Hi TPF,

This is actually the forum for SmartMusic. SmartScore is made by the company Musitek. You can find their forum at http://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/ and their main website at http://www.musitek.com/

In the newest versions of SmartScore, ties are the same color as the notes, depending on the layer. Slurs are blue.

In older versions, they were more difficult to spot.

And if you want something more obvious than the blue, it can be changed in the program preferences color selections.
