Is there any way to select a note, or several notes (Mass Selection) and add a chromatic interval, for instance P4?

I'm not certain I've understood your question correctly, but might the transposition dialogue with ‘Preserve Original Notes’ selected do what you want?

You could also use Chord Lines in JW Staff Polyphony.

In Simple Entry there are keys to add a fourth, fifth, etc., to an existing note.

Indeed there are.

However, the commands in Simple Entry add diatonic intervals.

And the OP (= OCTO.) is asking for a way to add a chromatic interval to a note, or evt. to all notes in a selected region.

I suspect that OCTO. already knows the Simple Entry option, and seeks another, faster way.
