Is anyone developing a plug-in that will convert
Sibelius files to Finale for Macintosh?

Here's a rare case where Tobias's answer to a plug-in question is not quite right - though there was no way for him to know that.
We've recently been working on a Sibelius plug-in that writes to the MusicXML format. This plug-in works with Sibelius 2.1 / 2.11 on both the Mac and Windows. You can then import the MusicXML file to Finale. Currently the Finale plug-in only works on Windows, but we hope to have a Mac OS X version ready once Finale 2004 is available.
We're looking for a few people to test the Sibelius plug-in before making it available for general downloading. So if you would like to test some Sibelius to Finale conversion (on Windows for the time being), please let me know.

Excellent work, Michael! Also great news on the Mac front. I hope that Coda licenses these plugins from you for their next versions.
I suggest that you post your request for testers on the Sibelius boards as well - there have been a few ppl asking for this from time to time.

Beta 0.1 of our Dolet for Sibelius plug-in is now available at:

It works with Sibelius 2 on both Windows and Macintosh.
We're very interested in your feedback on using this plug-in together with the MusicXML import in Dolet for Finale!
