Hello,

Does somebody know how to do the following?

I have finale files. ( piano quatre mains )
2 students are sitting in front of a digital piano with paper score.
The finale file should be played on a laptop so students can play along with it on the piano.
They should be able to change tempo, mute parts etc.
This can be done with finale.

Now the problem.

I need a solution where students ( age 12 tot 18 ) can not edit or copy the files.
I have been looking to smartmusic and have an account but have not managed yet to do the above situation.

Regards,

Johan

Do you have an educators version?

yes I have.
But I don't see the difference. ( correct me if I'm wrong please )
Smartmusic can't create files.
Finale does.

Joha

The educator's version can do a lot more than the student subscription and it would be the one intended for setting things up for student access but I don't have it so I can't say more.
