Here are some tools that I miss almost every day in Finale:

- a cursor for the zoom (like in Office programs). The keyboard shortcuts help to change the zooming but it doesn't show the scale.

- a "camera tool" that can take a snapshot of a portion of a page.

- an enhancer tool (highlight or background color in Office programs). Very useful when you come back to a project after a pause.

- a simple click to display multiple layers as one.

There's a tool for that--the graphic tool.

Great! I thought it was only possible to make an image from a whole page,
not from a portion of a page.
How do you do this?

Drag-zoom the region you want to view?

Hello Jari,
I think that the drag-zoom is still not as smooth as the cursor...
Although I have been working with Finale since 2000 I didn't know about www.finaletips.nu and those incredible plug-ins you created.
Wonderful!
about the multiple layers, I want to keep the 2 layers but display them like one at some point.
I will try Merge layers / Explode layers
