So i buy smartmusic from my director and i get the code to type in and stuff...now im confused where do i type in that code, or get the subscription

If you have a recent version of SmartMusic (8.5 is the latest), when you first start the program after installing it, you should be asked if you want to activate. Tell it you want to activate, then follow the guidelines. You should see something about a school sponsored home subscription or something that says "my teacher gave me a code." It should guide you through creating an account and finally activating it.
