Moving individual notes to a different layer
Thanks Peter... I had thought of doing as you suggest in terms of copying and deleting. There isn't a great deal of it to attend to. But wouldn't a "Send to Layer 2 (or 3 or 4)" key in simple entry...

Peter QD! A million thanks! That did it -- perfectly. I had no idea that Finale would treat a score in G minor differently than a score in Bb major, as the key sigs are identical. But changing them...

Thanks... I did mean G minor, not C minor. Maybe that's the problem -- one is set to Bb major, and the other is in G minor -- even though the key signatures are the same, Finale is treating them...

No, I'm set to concert pitch display in both cases. And I'm dealing with the C flute which isn't a transposer... A "d" in one score gets pasted as a "Bb" in the other... flute to flute. Is this a bug...
