You can't alter the noteheads in PM, but you can add a small circle to the note by using the articulation tool. It's #21. You can add it to a group of notes at once, by drag selecting them.

You can't do it in PrintMusic. That's the way it's set up. If you have a friend with Finale, they could make you a template that would work. Even so, you would probably have problems with overlapping...
