I had this problem and seemed to have solved it by getting rid of a file called soundflower.kext from /System/Library/Extensions. ( https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3983126?start=15&tstart=0 )

ok problem fixed. i deleted 3 files from the library/preferences directory in my home folder: com.makemusic.final.plist and com.makemusic.finale.lssharedfilelist.plist and "finale 2014 preferences"...

where do i find that file? thanks David
