All of the scripts are temperamental by the way...even the pre-installed scripts...sometimes they work, majority they don't, my Finale crashes all the time :( even after the re-install

Odd true, I tried that but it deletes the text and doesn't replace...I copied straight from the Finalescript help manual so its not any code entry error on my part... I've reinstalled the whole...

Text search and replace would find the box and delete the text and not replace it unfortunately for me...so trying to find another work around... Thanks for the reply though...
