Going off-topic slightly from grace notes: 1) a normal key press gives me ` 2) with shift, I get ¬ 3) with AltGr or Ctr-Alt, I get ¦ So now we know! Andreo Basisto

Goodness me! I never knew that and have been wondering for years what I would do if I came across a piece with both slashed and unslashed grace notes. Many thanks Motet! Good to know that I've learnt...

I, too, am deeply shocked that MM can consider closing this wonderful Forum. I have learnt so much over the years from Zuill and many others and have occasionally even offered the odd solution...
