Surprised to learn I an now officially obsolete! My trusty Early 2008 Mac Pro is no longer supported by Apple, with 2009 architecture being the minimum requirement for Sierra. I am a dinosaur stuck...

Crossed all appendages and installed 25.2 on my ancient MacPro. My installation appeared to "hang" like Bill Stevens above. Actually, the "Installing Update" splash screen simply failed to disappear....

Does 25.2 open and run for anybody on a MacPro?
