Cautionary accidentals
Discovered it by accident only a few weeks ago! Had been using speedy and * before.

One way is to erase it with the Simple Entry eraser.

saving as mp3 or midi rit not sounding
Seems like if I add an extra measure before saving as an MP3, then it works OK.
