The full version does work. I was able to map the number-pad 0 to = without a problem.

Hairpins moving about wildly on staves with independent time signatures
The only solution I've found for this is to make expressions that mimic smart shapes (using the shape designer).

About to start formatting parts (for 4000-bar opera)...
I am a MOLA member, but agree that 8.5 is unnecessarily large. However, IMO 6 or 6.5 is too small to be easily legible, especially in the opera pit.
