hi

can anyone tell if there is anyway to emphasize a sharp or a flat sign though it is in the key. for example, if I want to remind a player that the mentioned f is an f sharp though he supposed to know that it is so, since we are in B minor?

thanks

Hi Amit,

These questions don't have anything to do with the development of plug-ins for Finale. Could you please post them in the appropriate Windows or Macintosh forum instead? Posting them here makes for extra work for those of us who can help out with plug-in questions. Thanks!

If you're on Windows, post in:

http://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=5

If you're on Macintosh, post in:

http://forum.makemusic.com/default.aspx?f=6

Your questions have a lot better chance of being answered there!

Plug-ins are additions to Finale that you can access from the Plug-ins menu (the menu with the plug-in icon on Macintosh). This forum is for questions about programming plug-ins using C++ or other computer languages.

I believe it is because it may not be quite clear that "notation-windows" and "notation-mac" are Finale forums, while this forum actually has the word "finale" in its title.
for non-native speakers of english, I can see this as being confusing.

Amit:
Finale for Windows (PC) use the "Notation - Windows" forum
Finale for Mac use the "Notation - Macintosh" forum

Actually, the two Notation forums aren't only for Finale, but rather for all the six members of the Finale family:

Finale
Finale Allegro
Finale PrintMusic
Finale SongWriter
Finale NotePad Plus
Finale NotePad
