Our company has gone to some of the major players of the Finale Plug-in Development but none of them had time. I think we will be getting this developed elsewhere, but I thought I'd mention it to see if any others would find this plug-in useful.

Essentially, all we need is a Count line. Any Sibelius users would know that there is a 'Number Text' plug in.

It would be the same as the Sibelius one, but would handle Compound time signatures much better. And it preferably wouldn't take up a Lyric line.

The user would select some bars or the whole piece, and press this Count plug-in. The piece would then be filled with '1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +' in the correct places, and only with a '+' on on-the-beat eighth notes (otherwise it would get very congested. If '+' were needed on off-the-beat eighth notes, then they can be copy/pasted there).
