HI:
[sorry if this is not the proper section to place my comments, but I REALLY need help!]

My question is simple, but I haven't found a way of doing it... I want to know HOW to create a book from independant files?

In other words, I have several songs in separate files and I want to include all of them IN A SINGLE FILE, so that I can print them easier. Do I explain myself?

I already know how to add blank pages and the copy and paste functions, BUT when I try this way (copying and pasting) I can not put one file in a page and the other one in the next page with its corresponding ending bars; I just can do it as if it were a LONG single one file with just one ending bar...sad   I'm working with FINALE 2008 for Windows.

I hope you can help me.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Daniel Ramos.

Daniel, you should be asking this in "Notation - Windows", and a forum admin will most likely lock this thread later today. I wish they'd renamed and reorganise the forums to make it easier to work out which one you should post in, but they seem to be stuck with the current setup.

And before we get locked - check out ScoreMerger (Finale 2009 - try downloading the demo and see if it does what you want) - or use something external, like Acrobat, InDesign or somesuch.

Most of Finale's recent versions have concentrated on improving sequencing/playback functions, rather than addressing long-standing issues with book printing. ScoreMerger seems to be one of the few moves in the latter direction, and is to be welcomed as a start.
