Thanks for the answer. I have tried earlier this steps, but without success. Im sending screenshot with the contenct of fs-window. Is it bug, or I am doing something wrong?

I have received score + parts. I have to delete some measure (the same group of bars in the all parts). I would like to speed up my work:)

Best regards,
Piotr

Piotr,

I tried Robert's script (and yours) and it deleted the measure correctly. What version of Finale are you using for this?

I am using 2008a (PC). In 2k7c Fs works ok, and this script deletes measures.
In 2k8a fs doesn't work correctly. It switch on "measure tool" and stops.

It looks me like a bug. I have tried to delete measure using fs on to PC machines - without success.

Piotr

2k8a,

I can only test on a Mac, so I don't know if this is a PC only problem. But if the other script switches on the measure tool, try this script which will bring up the selection tool:

selection tool
select measure 2
delete

I have had problems deleting measures, too.
I'm running Finale 2008r2 on a MacBook 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo OS X.5.2.

Specifically, I added 17 measures and now want to delete them. I highlight them, press delete, and voila! nothing happens. The measures are still visible.
"Delete Measure Stack" via the Edit menu does not show as an option (as in the font is a light gray, instead of dark black).

Is this a known problem? Or am I missing something?

Thanks,
Cynthia

Cynthia,

If your score has more than one staff, you must double-click to select the entire measure stack.
A single-click will only select the measure in one staff.

Hi,

I would like to point out that "delete" in FS doesn't work properly, not deleting mesaures (or function delete measure stack).
Could someone confirm problem in FS with "delete"(2k8a, PC)?
