Finalescript newbie here, so sorry if this is an easy answer.

I tried using system top margin 0.046177
system left margin 0.5

and it used these values for all the systems.

How can i modify this?

In the edit system dialog box, make sure your script includes instructions to type "1" into the Change System "1" thru "1" fields.

I haven't tried the dialogue box route yet. Since there were easy commands "system top margin" and system left margin" I though that it might be possible to modify them directly

select system 1
top system margin 0.046177
left system margin 0.5

just remember that FS is linear in execution, so if you want to change all the systems then indent it would look like this ...

select all
top system margin 0.046177
left system margin 0.0

select system 1
top system margin 0.046177
left system margin 0.5
