I suppose that you are already(?) aware of the plug-ins for "general" accidentals:
Plug-In menu > Note, Beam, and Rest Editing > Cautionary Accidentals…
Plug-In menu > Scoring and Arranging > Canonic Utilities…
This is not the same as the problem you describe (= batch processing 20 files for beat 1 in a specific measure), I know.
But the "general" accidental plug-ins might be useful for you in other situations.

|Has anyone developed techniques for accessing and using Speedy Entry in Finalescript? As I work on files in a hymnal project I find little mistakes that need to be corrected through Speedy Entry (like accidentals) on 20 or so files. I'd like to use scripts to do this rather than manually correcting 20 files for each error I find. (I have 20 hymns -- 400 files -- that need some tweaks at the moment.)|
