Hi You can use Sibelius to create a file to use in smart music.
1. Save your Sib file.
2. export the file to graphic.
3 Save as a tiff file.
4. Import to Finale follow these instructions.
Click on file in Finale, go down to scanning and go to import Tiff. Click on add files and go to where you have saved them on your HD.
Then click on begin reconition and away you go.
Good luck. Any problems let me know.
MIDI and print-and-scan are options, of course. For SmartMusic as the final output, MIDI would probably be the better choice.
But by far the most accurate way to go from Finale to Sibelius is via MusicXML files. It costs more because you can only save the MusicXML through an additional plug-in. But if you need the notation to be transferred accurately, it makes life much easier. The Dolet 3 for Sibelius plug-in is available from our site at:

After saving the MusicXML file from Sibelius, read it into Finale 2006 and then save to SmartMusic.
