Hello Everyone,

I'm attempting to create a smartmusic file from Finale 2005 that switches time between 6/8 and 2/4 while the beat remains the same. In finale I can create this with the Tempo Adjustment Dialog and it works, but when I create the Smartmusic file, the tempo changes so the quarter note (not the beat) remians constant, and my 2/4 sections are WAY too fast.

I removed the human playback function and now the file plays temporally well, but none of my dynamics seem to work right. Is there a way to get both of these features on the same page, or am I doomed to live with no dynamics or incorrect tempo changes? Any input you can provide will be more than welcome!

Does it help if you create the tempo change as an expression instead of with the Tempo Tool?
