There's no current way to directly import a PDF file. You'd have to create it in Finale and save it as a SmartMusic accompaniment. Of course you can always view a PDF file on your computer while SmartMusic is playing in the background. Even if they did add the ability to view a PDF, it might not carry much of an advantage over that method anyway, since there would be no way for SmartMusic to know where the player is at on the PDF page.
