I am attempting to create onscreen assessment files, and with almost every attempt, I am getting a "manual position of notes" error for some measures. Is there any command or keystroke that will restore note positioning to a default? So far, the only way I can get the message to go away is to completely re-enter the measure's notes.

Thanks for any help you can offer -

PowerBook G4 running Finale 2005, 6 and 7.

If you set Finale's Manual Positioning option to Ignore in the Music Spacing page of Document Options, you should then be able to highlight the entire piece and apply note spacing to clear the manual data.

I found that if you set the Manual Positioning option to Clear in the Music Spacing page of Document Options, that you can highlight the entire piece and apply note spacing to clear the manual data.
