I realized something a few months ago that I thought was interesting.  I noticed Finale takes words in the expression tool, custom line tool, etc., and tries to interpret musically what was entered.  For instance, if I input "rall." in the expression tool, and not even program any form of playback, it will still slow down once it hits that word.  I find it interesting that Finale has all these words known, but not on the list of options to select; I must still type it out.  Is there more to this that I can do?

There's at least a partial list in the User Manual. Look in the Table of Contents >> Appendix >> Human Playback Dictionary.

There was a funny thread about this a while ago. Someone wrote a piece about handbells, and every time the word appeared (it was even in German if I remember properly), the voices would switch to bells. Sort of opens up a lot of possibilities.
