Hi Folks,

I was wondering if it was possible to use MIDI messages to enter notes expression/articulations! For instance, i have a music with quarter tones. I have define/created already four expression for enter 1/3 quarter tones up and down. If I have button on my Keyboard sending On/Off MIDI messages. I wish I could play, say, MIDDLE C while pressing a programmed button ( on my midi controller) to enter say Middle C, a quarter tone up!

Is that possible to have FINALE to "MIDI LEARN" a button on my MIDI controller for an expression/articulation? This way we can enter/mark the expression as we enter the notes. I have also assigned META tool for that. But I want something faster.

This idea of course seems similar to key switches in VST instruments! But it is not!
