Try MakeMusic support. If they can't help you, you may need to completely re-install Windows. Best way to get rid of idiosyncracies that I have found. Time consuming, but ultimately worth it. When you re-install you tend not to put back all the junky programs the you tried but never uninstalled, that are just taking up resources on your machine.

Have you tried a system restore prior to the time the problem started?

Finale 2010b, GPO 4, JABB 3, Windows 7, 64 bit

Can someone suggest what I might be able to do here so that I can use the expression tool again?? I have already reinstalled the program only for it to The program has simply been crashing no matter what file I open, just by double clicking to add an expression. It still lets me use metatools I have defined, but I cannot access my library.

I completely uninstalled Finale, reinstalled it fresh, opened up a blank document, selected the expression tool, double clicked and promptly crashed the program exactly as before. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?! I have been a finale user since 2001 but I don't know how to solve this one --- I would greatly appreciate anyone's help, as it is finals week and I desperately need to print my scores...I have my graduating jury on Wednesday and I should have already submitted my materials by now but this issue has brought everything to a grinding halt.
