Hi,
This is my first time using finale seriously, or doing any sort of arranging seriously for that matter.
I've just started arranging Where Have All The Flowers gone for my school choir. For some reason, the score for that, which is relatively small (SATB + Piano, under 100 measures, is running extremely slowly. I was originally writing this on my laptop, but when it started getting slow, I tried switching to my desktop, and it's still impossibly slow. When I transferred it, I just uploaded the .mus to google docs and downloaded it on my desktop. The scroll speed, entering notes, deleting notes, etc. All of the other posts I could find about this had everyone asking about the computer specs, but I really think it's something with this particular score that got corrupted somehow. The last page of the score doesn't have any music or lyrics or anything on it, and the scrolling works normally there. If I try to copy/paste anything into a finale project, finale crashes. Is there any way I could fix this without having to rewrite anything? Or if someone would try looking at the file with their copy of finale to see if it really is just my computer.


EDIT: Now it won't open at all on my laptop, and takes about 2 minutes to open on my desktop

You would need to post the Finale file for us to look at.

Please add the program and version you are using to your signature, in the user control panel.
