I am pretty sure the answer is in the negative, but I thought I would check before giving up on the question of whether there is any way set up key velocities to record in speedy entry.

It is automatically all the same. And, whatever you set the Base Key Velocity to in the playback controls to, those will change accordingly.

If you want to try something between Speedy and Hyperscribe, then try Hyperscribe with Tap as the metronome. That way you will get the velocity you want, but at your speed.

Thanks. There seems to be a latency issue when I attempt to use the sustain pedal as the tempo source. I want to have both hands available and, in any event, I find tapping a midi note distracting to my inner ear unless I select a different note for each passage I enter, which in itself becomes another task.
