Does anyone know how to put a repeat sign in the middle of a measure?

The answer to this Conundrum is : READ THE MANUAL !! -- all is clearly explained therein. look up the word REPEAT in the index, and then under that you will find the words MID-MEASURE REPEATS. Click on the chapter/page number, and you will find the selection needed. Of course they explain it using 4/4 divided into two measures of 2/4, but I am sure anyone who is intelligent enough to use FINALE can figure out the necessary compensations for other divisions of the measure.
The manual is included with every original copy of FINALE now in Acrobat format. -- IT IS AN INVALUABLE TOOL, and frequently a lot faster than going onto the forum. ALSO, it is the best way to really learn how to use FINALE !! Been there and working with Finale for almost 10 years now !!!
