That's a pretty silly answer to a serious question. Obviously, anon. #1 means ON the screen, while using finale! It's quite simple really, turn your monitor over. Don't forget to read it backwards.

You guys are all wet. The easiest thing to do is stand on one's head. That eliminates all of the hardware variables.

I of course prefer to just turn the monitor over.

NO NO NO!!!

You get two HUGE magnets...then you put one on either side of the monitor. Sure enough, the picture will start to distort due to the huge magnetic field created, then simple rotate the magnets around the monitor, and the stems will be close behind.

I'm sure those replies were all very helpful. If you want to interchange the position of two staves without dragging them into the new position, you could select the staff tool, click the staff, and then from the staff menu select "staff usage." Note the "distance from top" measurement. Use the "previous/next" button to locate the staff you want to change position with, and note the position, then enter the new distance for each staff, respectively. Click okay and the staves will have changed places.

Since this technique can have different results depending whether you're using page or scroll view, or special parts extraction, you should check the user guide under "staff usage."

Make sure you make a copy before you start flipping, etc, so you have something to go back to.
