Is there any way to have a time signature with the value 60-120? When I try to put in more than one number, using the plug-in, it won't work. I worked around it by adding a text expression after my (quarter note) =60, but the font isn't exactly the same. Any thoughts? idea

Ron,

Are you talking about a tempo marking? If so, I don't know about other fonts, but in the Jazz font there is an expression of "quarter note =" It is in the Jazz Text font, so you simply edit it by typing whatever you want after it. I edit that expression for every score I do --- takes about 10 seconds.

If I misunderstood your question, never mind. ;o)

(Currently using: Finale 2003a, Windows 98-2e, TGTools 2.25, and Glenlivet when I can afford it.)

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing!

You had me scratching my head!

Let's see, 60 beats per bar, the 120th note gets the beat...%&$*# Modern Music! Must be a bear to conduct! ;-)

Ah yes...The tempo marking I needed was right there in the expression "party pack". If it were a snake, it would have bitten Steve Irwin's infant child.....lol Funny thing is, I've never needed the tempo marking to have such options, but I'm doing a trumpet instructional book, and some of the exercises include this variation...Thanks for pointing out the oblivious. tongue
